The proven mind-body benefits of mindfulness are countless but that's not why I tout mindfulness. Quite simply it has changed my life and made my mummyhood happier, healthier and more energised.
As a mindfulness teacher and new mum (albeit third time round!), I'm delighted to host four very special classes for new mums and their babies at the gorgeous Nue Ground.
From sleep deprivation to the stress and wonder of raising a new mini human, the power of mum-centred mindfulness can support and transform every step.
Head upstairs and join me and baby Barnaby over a coffee for a weekly re-set of mindful sharing, guided relaxation and proven mindset techniques to enrich the weeks ahead.
Each week we'll explore themes such as Allow, Energy, Gratitude, Purpose and Joy.
You're welcome just as you are. If it's a good day, come. If it's a hard day, come. If your baby cries, poos, fusses: that's all part of the practice! Feel free to feed and change your baby at any point during the class.
Booking is essential as space is limited.
Babies: 0-6 months (or before they can crawl!).
Slings only! Please bring baby in a sling as class upstairs and no capacity for prams.
Please bring your own yoga mat (if you don't have one just let me know when you book and I'll do my best to source a spare).
Cost of class doesn't include teas, coffees, cakes etc. These can be purchased directly from the café.
Limited to 8 mums & babies max per class.
Please aim to arrive ten minutes early.
We'll be upstairs at the gorgeous Nue Ground café on Abbeville Road.
Head through the café and up the stairs on the right.
